The Ford Theater bookstore in Washington, D.C. has banned the selling of the book due to several "mistakes" and "inaccuracies. “Killing Lincoln” has no footnotes. “Killing Lincoln” suffers from factual errors and a lack of documentation, according to a study conducted by Rae Emerson, the deputy superintendent of Ford’s Theater National Historic Site, which is a unit of the National Park Service. The National Park Service finds that the Fox host's best-selling new book is riddled with factual errors.
